Recording GRAD Information on Transcripts
Minnesota Statute (M.S. 120B.30)[1]
requires that a school, district, or charter school place on the high school
transcript a student’s highest assessment score for each subject that has a
required graduation assessment. MDE recommends using the following status codes
to represent the highest assessment score:

high school. These notations would be used regardless of the assessment used
(MCA, GRAD, MTELL, MTAS, Writing Alternate Assessment).
